Not So Kick-Ass

How many times do you come across a game made from a movie? And, how often do these games actually suck? Too often!

Not So Kick-Ass

The new movie Kick-Ass may have truly been kick-ass in the comedy department, but the video game? Booooorrrrring! Featuring only 12 missions and basically the same storyline as the movie, there isn't much excitement in the game. And, since when was it exciting to know exactly what is going to happen?

The game does feature a Facebook integration with more missions through the social network, but this is supposed to be a video game, not the application riding the coattails of Mafia Wars!

Kick-Ass attempts to instill the comedy in the game with personality inspired finishers and movie clips, but all in all I think that it's an opportunity to try and make a few more bucks of the franchise.

Is it worth it to check it out? Sure, if you loved the movie, rent the game from Blockbuster. But, I deem it an unworthy buy.
